So recently I have been thinking about this whole moving thing and it's not easy to digest all the time!! I am so very excited for something new and for a new adventure, however the thoughts of what I am leaving behind are scary sometimes! In recent days I have felt some self-doubt begin to creep my way, is this really what I want to do,is this really where I want to go, will I be missed, these are the questions that begin to creep into the back of my mind. And recently today when I was worrying about some other things doubt some other things in my life and really feeling scared of some much I remembered this verse.
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7
It was like God hit me over the head with it, I was actually in the shower and just remembered you know what why I am I living in this fear with all of these questions, God has given me a spirit of power an I should be living in that and trusting him. This all reminds me of a song that I recently heard by Britt Nicole called Walk on the Water and in the song she talks about how we let our insecurities bring us down, etc. This song has really spoke to me through these questions and so I will post the lyrics at the end of this blog.
Here is hoping that I can remember to live in the spirit of power that I have been given and that I continue to savor the sweet moments each and every day. <3 I am on this journey of living in power and will continue to journey...

You look around and staring back at you
Another wave of doubt
Will it pull you under
You wonder
What if i'm overtaken
What if i never make it
What if no one's there
Will you hear my prayer?
When you take that first step
Into the unknown
You know that he won't let you go
So what are you waiting for
What do you have to lose
Your insecurities
They try to hold to you
But you know you're made for more
So don't be afraid to move
Your faith is all it takes
And you can walk on the water too
So get out and let your fear fall to the ground
No time to waste, don't wait
And don't you turn around, and miss out on
Everything you were made for
Gotta be, I know you're not sure, more
So you play it safe, you try to run away
If you take that first step
Into the unknown
He won't let you go
So what are you waiting for
What do you have to lose
Your insecurities
They try to hold to you
But you know you're made for more
So don't be afraid to move
Your faith is all it takes
And you can walk on the water too
